Companions/Pets[]
Companions (previously called Pets) are a feature that is unlocked after your first retirement. After which, eggs may begin to drop in dungeons. Eggs are carried in your inventory and hatch at random during an Explore action. The longer an egg sits in your inventory, the higher the chance of hatching. Each different egg type hatches into a different pet, which gives specific bonuses. A companion can reduce the negative Zone Effects in a zone as well as provide a unique ability.
Temporal Chicken[]
Temporal Chicken hatches from a Small Brown Egg and has an ability called Seasoning. When activated, Seasoning causes the next zone you enter to be a random seasonal event. Temporal Chicken reduces Entangle, Freezing, Indigestion and Decay zone effects.
Pigmy Dragon[]
Pigmy Dragon hatches from a Multi-Colored Striped Egg and has an ability called Elemental Blessing. When activated, Elemental Blessing boosts all elemental bonuses for number of turns equal to the Pigmy Dragon's level. Pigmy Dragon reduces all fire, water, earth and air zone penalties.
Eye Beast[]
Eye Beast hatches from a Green Spotted Egg and has an ability called Detect Weakness. When activated, Detect Weakness increases your crit chance for a number of turns equal to the Eye Beast's level. Eye Beast reduces Lost, Ambushes and Traps zone effects.
Vulture[]
Vulture hatches from a Blue Spotted Egg and has an ability called Scavenge. Scavenge is a passive ability that allows the vulture to feed itself on corpses of fallen foes, leveling itself automatically over time. Vulture reduces Ravage, Spoil and Toxin zone effects.
Lucky Cricket[]
Lucky Cricket hatches from a White Spotted Egg and has an ability called Chirp. When activated, Chirp removes the curse effect. Lucky Cricket reduces Swarm, Cursed Grounds and Luck Penalty zone effects.
Golden Goose[]
Golden goose hatches from a Golden Egg and has an ability called Honk. When activated, Honk increases the amount of gold, gems and candy (during the autumn event) found in the zone. The Golden Goose companion does not reduce any zone effects.
Dopplemite[]
Dopplemite hatches from a Small Slimy Egg and has an ability called Squash. When activated, Squash turns the Dopplemite into food equal to 10 x their level. The Dopplemite reduces all zone effects.
Leveling Companions[]
Companions gain levels through feeding. The Companion tab has a button to level up pets, which costs an amount of food based on the companion type and their level.
- Temporal Chicken: 10 x level
- Pigmy Dragon: 20 x level
- Eye Beast: 15 x level
- Vulture: 50 x level (eats after killing an enemy automatically)
- Lucky Cricket: 15 x level
- Golden Goose: 20 x level
